Clouds

White clouds appear in the blue sky and the color of the clouds is due to their altitude.  The color also depends on the way the cloud reflects the sun light.  For example, cirrus clouds are at a height of 8 kilometres from the sea level.  The clouds are formed with only water vapour and are full of ice crystals.  These ice crystals reflect the sun light and so appear in bright white color.  Cyclone clouds are very dense clouds.  These reflect the sun light upwards and so when we see them from the earth they look dark. Few clouds absorb most of the sun light and so look dark.
