Dispersal of seeds happens due to humans, animals, water and wind | Seeds of plants which are thin and light are dispersed by air
To grow up the plants of one place in another place, its seeds have to be sowed in the new place. But many times, plants at some place grow up at another place without anyone sowed the seeds. Dispersal of seeds will be done not only through humans but also by the animals. Animals like monkeys pick the fruit at one place and eat at another place throwing the seeds there at new place. Some animals eat fruit at one place and they eliminate feces at another place. Their digestive waste will contain the seeds of fruit, it had eaten previously. Through those seeds, plants germinate. In this way plants germinate in various places due to the dispersal of seeds through animals. Wind also disperses the seeds sometimes.
Seeds of some plants are thin and light. They are blown up due to air easily and fall at different places. Plants and trees which grow at the side of ponds and lakes, germinate due to the transfer of seeds through water. Some big and heavy seeds like coconuts travel through the water to another place. Plant germinates at that new place. In some plants fruits get dried and are blown due to the sunlight which results in the scattering of seeds to far off places. Fruits of thorny plant Gorsu, broom plants, Lupin plants, beans plants etc get dried and scatter the seeds.
