We all know about different type of forts. Fort means which is built with highest walls.  But in Jaipur the Hawa Mahal fort which is in the Rajasthan is different.  This fort which is of 50 feet height with 5 stairs is in the pyramidal shape.  There are 953 balconies to get wind into the fort.  So this mahal is named as ‘Hawa Mahal’.  Hawa Mahal means the wind getting fort.  This is built by the king Pratap Singh in 1799.  This fort looks like the crown of Lord Krishna.

  1. I had gone to hawa mahal. When is used to study in class 9th that time i had seen really that was so beautiful and amazing fort and fifteen years ago i had gone now that time i want to go once again
