Uncontrollable process of cell division in the human body causes tumors to form. Few tumors do not spread to other parts of the body and are harmless. But few types of tumors spread to other parts of the body and produce same type of cells there also. These are very dangerous and life threatening. These are called the malignant tumors. Forming of these tumors is called Malignancy. Cancer cells are also referred as malignant cells. When malignant tumors appear in the tissues of the body organs, it is called Carcinoma. When uncontrollable cell division is seen in lungs, chest, digestive systems etc, it can be called as Malignancy.
