The highest television tower in the world is at Tokyo, Japan.   This even holds the Guinness Record of being the tallest television tower in world.  The name of the TV tower is ‘The Tokyo Sky Tree’.

Canton Tower in Japan held the world record of being the tallest tower in the world.  The height of Canton tower in China was 600 metres or 1,969 feet.  Tokyo Sky Tree height is 635 metres or 2,080 feet.  The construction of Tokyo sky Tree began in the year 2008 and was completed after three years.  Burj Khalifa in Dubai is the tallest construction in the world and the second tallest construction is Japan Tokyo Sky Tree.  Nearly 793 million dollars were spent for the construction of this tower.  As the number of large building in Japan has increased only five percent of people are receiving television and radio transmissions.  Tokyo Sky Tree tower was built to provide TV and radio signals to all the people in the country.

Many precautions were taken during the construction of Tokyo Tree Sky tower.  This construction was built as five separate storeys and is combined to prevent it from damaging due to earthquakes and gales.  A concrete pillar was built in the middle and iron rods are placed around the pillar.  Elevators are arranged to go up to the tower.  Visitors will be allowed on to this tower from May, 2013.  Tokyo Sky Tree tower also has restaurants and shops.  It is estimated that nearly twenty five lakh tourists will visit this tower.  The tower is visible even from a distance of 97 kilometres. The tower was named after conducting a country wide survey.  Animation serials, television advertisements and videogames are being developed based on Tokyo Sky Tree Tower in Japan.
