When is World Water day observed?

March 22nd is celebrated as world’s water day.  This decision was taken by UNO’s (United Nations Organization) members in an environmental meeting held in 1982.

There is a substantial decrease of drinking water resources worldwide day by day.  Protecting the water resources from pollution and bringing awareness is needed for the people in these days. These are the topics that are discussed every year on World Water day. We shouldn’t waste water from taps when we are brushing.  We should take bath with one bucket of water.  After washing rice and vegetables the water should be used to water the plants.  These precautions will definitely help to protect the water wastage.  Every human being should try to be a responsible citizen.
